  1. This was a good pie. It didn't have quite enough of a distinct peanut butter flavor for my family's liking (maybe more peanut butter next time or less corn syrup/sugar), but it is still really good. I served with whipped cream on top. I think vanilla ice cream would be delicious on the side also!

  2. Delicious recipe! Only problem I had was the baking time. Followed the directions exactly, but mine was overdone at 30 min at 350. I will watch it more carefully next time and check at 20 minutes. Still wonderfully good. I also prefer the smooth peanut butter and real whipped cream. Good stuff, and so easy to make. Thanks, Tina, for sharing!

  3. I followed the directions exactly, pie blew up in oven! I'll try again because the batter was delicious...think I'll try 350 degrees for 40 minutes though instead of the confusing two-stage method.

  4. This is the best peanut butter recipe and the same recipe my Mom used. Now I know the source of the recipe. An American classic and soooo goooood!! I prefer the smooth peanut butter for this. For best results, homemade pastry shell and real whipped cream! Yep!

I am a stay at home mom of 3 girls ages 16,14, and 12...My 16 year old has acted like she was 30 since she was 2, and strongwilled as well...so life is never dull around here. I love surfing the web and taking care of my children. If I had a month off I would take my kids to as many vacation spots as I could and enjoy our time together. Since my children are younger, I could use kid friendly recipes and delicious casserole dishes that I can make for me when I have to cater to their favorite foods. Recipezaar has inspired me to be interested in cooking and sharing recipes! Thanks My Pet Peeves~Don't Touch My Hair Or Feet!
