  1. Moist and rich, this cake delivers! I coated my pan with cocoa powder (to avoid the 'flour' on the dark cake) and I shook about a tsp. of cocoa in with the chocolate chips, to coat them (also, like flour) and keep them from sinking. The Kahlua was a subtle accent. I baked mine for 50 minutes; I will keep this recipe handy! Thanks for sharing, BakinBaby.

  2. I'm not sure why, but my cake overflowed out of the bundt pan. Luckily, the bottom rack of my oven was lined with foil. What was left is much like a molten lava cake. I can't help but think it was the quantity of eggs called for in this recipe. There is a similar recipe on this same site that calls for only 2 eggs. I guess that's the next recipe I will try. On a positive note, what we were able to scoop out of the pan has wonderful flavor!

  3. I first noticed this recipe in October 2013. Since then, I have baked this cake 6 times! It is so delicious! I've even made a yellow cake with white chocolate chips, along with Instant Jello White Chocolate Pudding. Yummy! Once while making the chocolate version,I discovered I was out of instant pudding and whole milk,so I used Jello Chocolate Cook n Serve (using buttermilk to cook the pudding with since I was out of whole milk). I decreased the sour cream by 1/2 cup, and also added 1 tsp.of cinnamon, along with some chopped walnuts. It was totally fantastic! You just can't go wrong with this recipe:)

  4. Very easy to make! 5 Stars for easiness, 4 stars for taste...4 1/2 total. Since Zaar doesn't do halves, I have rounded up. With the sour cream, pudding mix and chocolate chips, it was very moist. I really couldn't taste the kahlua though. And I could tell it was from a mix. But regardless, it was delicious, and my DS loved it!
