  1. Made these to take to work. They were a huge hit - even with me!! That's saying something, as usually if it's not chocolate, I'm not interested. These were seriously AWESOME!! The changes I made were to omit the butter and use applesauce instead (VERY nice and moist cookie!!), added nutmeg, and instead of chocolate chips, I added half butterscotch chips and half white chocolate chips. Making them again right now as my DH and DS have not stopped grousing about how they only got a couple! Great fall recipe!

  2. Fantastic! I just made these tonight. Super simple recipe, they came out of the oven after 13 minutes, perfectly baked, moist and delicious. I will be making these every fall from now on.

  3. These are the best pumpkin cookies i've come across. My family and neighbors really liked them too! Easy to make and come out great!

  4. awesome cookie and makes a great muffin too!! i made half as cookies and then decided to try it as a muffin. i filled lined muffin tins about 3/4 full with batter and baked at 350 for 15 minutes. turned out great both ways! oh, i also added 1/2 teaspoon cloves to the batter. yummy!

  5. TERRIFIC--just like my mom's recipe! I got way more than 2 doz. from this, but I made them by the tsp-ful. Do not make these if you want a crispy cookie--these are deliciously cakey. My husband has not stopped eating them since they came from the oven--6+ cookies a day is a LOT! :)
