- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1⁄2 cup melted margarine
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Mix peanut butter, melted marg and brown sugar.
- Add beaten eggs.
- Mix dry ingredients and combine, mixing only til mixed.
- Place in greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Bake 25-30 minutes 350°F.
These were good! I added some cocoa and some choc chips, hit the spot!! Also realized I had Nutella in the cupboard, mmm, with that spread on top, yummy! We baked them for 25 mins, They seemed a bit eggy when they were warm, but then they got better as they cooled. Definitely need to mindful of not overmixing. Thanks for sharing!
I used natural peanut butter, without added sugar-- I preferred it that way. With sugary PB, I think it would have been too sweet. They tasted good, a little dry-- maybe I'll underbake them next time. Thanks for a simple and delicious recipe. Chocolate chips would be a great add-in.
