BROWNIES
- 3⁄4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2⁄3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 1 cup peanut butter chips

FROSTING
- 1⁄4 cup butter, softened
- 1⁄4 cup baking cocoa
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1⁄2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1⁄3 cup peanut butter chips
directions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter and sugars. Beat in eggs an vanilla.
- Combine the flour and baking powder, and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chips.
- Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in baking pan. Bake at 325 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
- For the frosting, in a small mixing bowl combine butter, cocoa, milk, corn syrup and vanilla. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and beat until smooth.
- Frost brownies and sprinkle with chips. Cut into bars.
