This pie tastes *exactly* like a Creamsicle (or Dreamsicle, depending on your age)! I used the tip about soaking the gelatin/pudding in orange juice, and found no grittiness at all in the finished pie. I've already passed the recipe on to several friends, and it's now one of my "secret weapon" recipes -- easy to make, and very impressive.

This is very very good. I did vary a little on the directions but not on the ingredients. I beat the cream cheese until smooth, mixed in the frozen whipped topping. In a seperate bowl I whisked the orange juice with the instant pudding and orange jello powder. I then combined the 2 and spooned into the prepared crusts. For each crust I melted 3 T. butter in a 9 inch pie plate. While melting that I mixed 1/2 cup each of graham crumbs and oreo cookie crumbs with 1/4 cup white sugar. I then mixed that in with the melted butter, patted into place in the pie plate. Microwaved for 2 minutes on HIGH but the first one started to burn. 2nd one I put on 70% power for 2 minutes 10 seconds. The dessert was a little difficult to get out of the pan but the extra crumbs that get left in pan can be sprinkled on top for garnish. As I almost always have all these ingredients on hand I know I will be making it again.
