These were delishious and very easy to make! I noticed they dried out faster than I could sheet them so I just added a tiny bit of milk and stired to make them fresh again. Worked great. Super recipe, thanks for sharing!

I used old fashioned oats instead of quick. My first batch crumbled miserably. So, I dropped the oats to 2 cups and they turned out wonderfully. I like this recipes ratio of butter to peanut butter. The taste is marvelous. Thank you.

Easy! What I was looking for. Instead of peanut butter I used Soy Nut Butter as my son is allergic to pb, and wanted him to be able to eat these too. I don't like the Soy Butter But loved these cookies with it in them.. Easy recipe to make peanut free!

Easy and delicious. Due to what was available in my cupboard/fridge I subbed Old Fashioned Cooking Oats and whipped margarine. No problems! Thanks for sharing recipe.

I agree that this is the best recipe for no bake cookies because it calls for only 2 tablespoons of butter. I have used different recipes in the past and my daughters said they thought this one tasted "creamier" I followed the directions except I added the butter to the mixture that you cook on the stove. The results were perfect. I have used only 1 1/2 cups of sugar with good results too! Thanks! KCShell

These cookies are soooo good. I had used this recipe exactly that I got from another source, and made these about once a week for a friend of mine. One of the best parts was scrapping the pan down with a spoon, after scooping out the cookies, and eating what was left.

I crave no bakes. Honestly, I do. I liked the lower butter content on these. I used half splenda/half sugar. While I could taste a difference (I think the splenda made it a little less sweet and therefore the tastes were not as pronounced) these covered my horrible craving in a way that made me feel a little better about the fat content. (I used skim milk by the way!) Thanks so much.

These are the cookies I remember from the grade school cafeteria. I have loved them ever since. I left the butter out completely and substituted half Splenda for sugar. They turned out great.

I grew up making and eating no bake cookies. I chose this recipe because it uses the least amount of butter of any no bake cookie recipe I've found. I made the following changes, reduced the sugar to 1 3/4 cups from 2 cups, I used natural peanut butter, and increased the oatmeal to 3 1/2 cups from 3 cups. I thought the cookies came out very chocolately and full of peanut butter flavor. My children enjoyed them as well. Thank you for posting this wonderful cookie recipe.

DH and DS's loved them (I even snuck a bite, even though I'm not a 'sweet' eater). To speed things up even more I prssed this into a plastic lined cookie sheet(I also doubled the recipe). Used crunchy peanut butter Thank You Lola=^..^=!

Mine was a total flop. The mixture came out too dry and didn't hold together. I tried putting it in a cake pan to slice when cool, but it's just crumbs that don't hold together. Maybe some variations in peanut butter?I'm going to try adding some eggs and flour and bake the dough. I'm VERRY disappointed.

My mom used to make these when I was little, but the recipe was totally different. They tasted exactly the same if not better! My husband took a lot of them to work with him, because I made so many. The U.S. Navy loves them also! Thank you!

These bring back soooo many memories! Every time I went to visit my Granny, it was always these cookies in her jar. DD and I accidently put too much peanut butter in them but they are still great. Thanks!

Always a crowd pleaser! I've been making these since I was a child. My kids often don't even give them time to set up before they dig into them! Thanks for posting a classic.
