No bake chocolate oatmeal cookies are one of my favorite, but adding the cherries sends it over the top. We loved these. My DH also loves chocolate covered cherries, but got so he didn't care too much for the ones you buy now days. He loved these. Thanks for an awesome recipe. I did use 1 cup Splenda and 1 cup sugar to cut down on the sugar a little.

Oh, the chocolate...OH MY...the cherries...OH GOOD GAWD these were good! I love them without cherries, so I KNEW I'd love them with...AND I DO! Chocolate and cherries are a match made in heaven. I made these for my holiday goodies and they went over like you would NOT believe! The cherries still were juicy and just burst in your mouth when you chomped down on them. They set up PERFECTLY! I got 36 cookies, since I made them different sizes to accomodate the room on the tray. I WILL be making these year-round. Who says you can't have chocolate-covered cherries any time of the year?? Please tell your DH that he HAS to post more of his recipes!!

I should have trusted my gut on the peanut butter in these but I added it anyways. They probably would taste like choc covered cherries without the pb but it overpowers the cherry flavor (not sure why it is even in this recipe??), and I didn't even add the full amount. I've made no-bake cookies with and without pb dozens of times and they always come out great. But, these didn't quite set right. They didn't fully harden. I will try it again with no pb, but sadly not today bc I am all out of cherries. All that said, they are tasty, and will probably be even better without peanut butter in them.
