Microwave Chinese Chews

"Easy, yummy cookie. I make these for the holiday cookie exchange, but I felt so guilty for making such an easy cookie, I didn't make them one year. The next year I was asked to please make them again, people were asking for them."

  1. I made this with the butterscotch chips and we liked them a lot. I don't think they really taste too much like butterscotch so I think even if you were not a big butterscotch fan you might like them. At least a half dozen people at the potluck asked "who made these?" and made a point of telling me how good they were. I din't tell them how easy they were to make.

  3. My family usually devours sweets within a day or two. These stayed around so long I had to throw some out. Easy? Yes. Tasty? Nothing special.

  4. I've made these for Halloween as spiders and let them dry on waxed paper-kids love them!

  5. Made this for Christmas get-together. My husband never guessed it was chow mein noodles. Left all of it at the gathering so he wants another batch just for him. Thank you.

I live in a little house with my husband and my three "puppies" (all dogs are puppies to me, no matter how old they are). We have no children as of yet. I love to cook, but not to clean, and I won't cook unless my kitchen is clean, so I don't cook as much as I should. Some of my other hobbies are: role playing games, reading, SCA, garage saleing, and sewing. I am a pack rat, but I am trying to cut back on that, and I have far too many kitchen gadgets and cookbooks.(If there is such a thing.)
