      These cookies started a "war" at my house!! DD wouldn't let DH have but a little taste- then the rest were "HERS". After I settled the fight, (MOM- "the referee around here" :roll: ), DH said they are an "exploration of chocolatey goodness"(?). These really are a chocoholics dream!!

      I only managed a menage a deux! I did not have any white chocolate chips, was quite happy with that, as I am not a lover of white chocolate anyway! A rich and decadent biscuit (cookie) and one that my friends and family enjoyed with an afternoon cuppa! Made for the Comfort Cafe Jan 2010 event. FT:-)

      This is a beyond belief cookie. It deserves far more than 5 stars. I bought Dede Wilson's "Bake It To The Limit" cookbook in 1999 just for his recipe. If you really want to WOW people, this is the recipe. I make this only certain times of the year, like Valentine"s Day. People always ask if I'm going to make the sexy cookie, I guess because of the name. I never seem to make enough, but I always get raves reviews. I use Dove Chocolate Promises, dark and milk,cut into quarters, for the white I use Ghiardelli's white chips, and I use the darkest chocolate I can get for the cookie batter. I use a 1/8 c measure cup to drop the cookies. Oenophilly is right, take your time, and bake a test cookie to see how long your oven is going to take to bake.They won't last long enough to get stale.Thanks for putting this on the site, you beat me to the punch, but you sure know your cookies.
