"This is a recipe I got from my roommate at college. We'd make this all the time. It's delicious! It's best when made ahead of time."

  1. I couldn't find my recipe for lemon lush so I decided to see what I could find on recipezaar.com This recipe was much better than the one I lost, not too sweet, very light. Everyone wanted a second helping.

  2. This is one of those standbys that never fails to please. You can use any flavor instant pudding. And I like to add 1/4 cup chopped pecans to crust before patting in pan.Rich, creamy and filling.

  3. there is no way 1 1/2 cups of flour and 1 1/2 tablespoons of margarine can make a crust....but, I tried it anyway....all I have is a bunch of hot flour...total waste of time and flour...will start over with a different recipe... I don't trust anything in this one anymore!....Actually, I would like to know how this one can get 5 stars and such rave reviews??????

  4. This was wonderful. I made half of the recipe (my husband and I are empty nesters) and it worked out very well. I did add a bit of lemon juice to the milk (which promptly curdled like buttermilk but it mixed well with the pudding) to make it more tart. Delicious!!

  5. I can't believe I've never had this before! It's very good. DH and I would like a more tart lemon flavor, so I think I will add some lemon juice next time I make it. I'm also looking forward to trying it with different flavors of pudding. I think maybe there is a typo in the recipe, though, because 1.5 tablespoons of margarine was nowhere near enough. Maybe 1.5 sticks? I'm not sure. I read some of the other reviews and just kept adding more until it seemed right to me. I used a total of 10 tablespoons and it came out very well.
