I have been making this cake for quite some time, and searched on this site to see if there were any variations. While this recipe is the same one I have, it is an EXCELLENT one... so I'm okay with there being no others! :) Something extra that I always do is sprinkle powdered sugar on the top to add a little "pizzaz." I HIGHLY recommend this cake to ANYONE! It is easy, quick, and declicious!!!

This cake is a keeper. I have made this several times, and needed to let everyone know just how good this really is!

Had some ripe bananas that needed to be used and found this recipe. So good and makes a great snacking cake. It does taste even better after 24 hours. Trust me, I tested it every step of the way!

I'm not one for eating cakes, but enjoy making them. But after listening to my friends say how this was one of the best I had made in a while, I had to try it for myself...and I loved it :)

Great cake although it made more than I could fit in a 13x9 pan!. Oh, well....simply made an additional loaf pan full! Next time I will omit the nuts for the kids, though. Kept very well for over a week.....

Delicious cake, Kat...I made this cake the night before Memorial Day so we would have it for the cookout. (You had said it was good, but even better the next day) I loved being able to just mix the ingredients together with my trusty wooden spoon instead of getting out the mixer. It smelled wonderful while baking, turned out beautifully and sooo moist! I had SUCH a hard time staying out of it! It reminded me of my mom's fresh apple cake (which is marvelous) but yet was different. Thanks for sharing a terrific cake recipe! ...txgammi
