Easy and does taste like a Cakester. The cookies are VERY soft though, which makes them a little challenging to frost, but yummy.

Wonderful for an easy peasy cookie recipe. This will fill the cookie jar for the grand kids. Thanks for posting it.

ONE WORD: Addicting!!! So yummy! I love how soft they are. I dislike hard cookies and these fit the bill perfectly! Thank you!

I haven't made this recipe, but mine if very similar. I use 1 box chocolate cake mix, 1/3 cup oil, 2 eggs. Make 350f 8-10 minutes. Then I use a basic cream cheese icing for the filling, with appropriate color for the holiday

loved these cookies, these are quite similar to an Oreo Cakester, I used my Kittencal's Bakery Buttercream Frosting/Icing for the filling, I will make again soon, thanks for sharing LizAnn! :)

This was a very fun and easy recipe! We made 6 large cookies. I used food coloring to dye the frosting green and red for the upcoming Christmas Holiday. Thanks for a keeper :) I made this recipe for "PHOTO TAG Fall/Winter 2007".
