I forgot to rate this recipe so this review is to add the stars. I have made this 2 days in a row it was so very nice. I used packet vanilla sugar (quite a bit, like 1 tablespoon) on top and sprinkled with cinnamon, my husband , a man of few words, who usually says everything is "Good' when I ask how it was, emphatically said this was "Delicious!!!"people found this review Helpful. Now this is what I call a torte!! This is super easy and a great blend of flavors - not too sweet as well. I used homemade canned plums ("Spiced Italian Plums (Prunes) in Port")which held up quite nicely. I took the syrup from the canned plums, added some corn starch thickening it up to use as a syrup to drizzle on top. The only change I will make to this is to pack in as many plums as I can. Thanks for a great addition to my recipe book.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Thank you, thank you, thank you Cheesehead! This was wonderful, what a great recipe. This delicious dish was quick and easy to make and it tasted just out of this world. A lovely way to tantalize one's tastebuds. A sweet, tart, pretty plum torte with a hint of cinnamon.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful...
