Great cookie! I made one change though. I replaced the pecans with dried cranberries, since my kids don't like nuts. I also flattened them with a glass dipped in turbinado sugar....gave them a wonderful crunch to the chewiness....they are YUMMY!! thanks for the great recipe!

My cookie jar was empty and I wanted to try something different.I had a fresh orange that I had forgotten about in the refrigerator.I am so glad I decided on this recipe. I doubled it..The cookies are very flavorful ( we really like the ornage flavor)and nice and chewy..It is a definite keeper..Thank you for this recipe. I will be making them often...

I added chocolate chips and left out the orange rind. Very good!
