Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
  4. Divide dough between 2 pans.
  5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minute.

This was a very simple to make apple bread, that is quite moist and delicious. I cut the recipe in half to make one loaf, but used 2 whole eggs. Though the batter was somewhat stiff it was no more so than other breads of this type that I've made. I added 1/2 tsp of nutmeg and 1/8 tsp of cloves, and used part whole wheat pastry flour. Wow! This apple bread is delicious! Very moist and full of flavor. I skipped the raisins as my family doesn't care for them. I'll be making this again for sure!

Wonderful........batter was thick, so there for, I mixed it with gloved hands. Mixed well using that method and very easy to divide in the two loaf pans.
