Duncan's Egg Custard Pie

"I found this years ago in a little magazine called "Great Foods". I don't remember what they called it, but the first time I made it, it was so good that my collie, Duncan, and I split the whole thing for breakfast!!"

  1. We really enjoyed this! So easy to put together, and takes very little time to bake. As there were no set baking instructions I looked at a few other recipes and followed those... so 10 minutes at 400F then 25 minutes at 350F worked great in my oven. Very good! Thank you for posting! Made for 2009 Spring PAC

  2. Custard pie was one of my absolute favorites growing up, and this recipe delivers the goods. Were it not for the less-than-scratch crust I used, I could have closed my eyes and imagined my Grandmother had come back to bake us one more pie. No higher praise can I think of.

  3. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I'll definitely be using it again. It's quick and easy, and very good. Husband and I enjoyed it a lot

I love flowers, yarn, chocolate, coffee, and french fries! I'm in the process of growing my own forest/park one plant at a time, I just learned to knit a few months ago and now I can't go a day without it, chocolate is goooooooooood, I can not function without coffee, and I've given up on giving up french fries!
