    StreyHart's Note:

I found this years ago in a little magazine called "Great Foods". I don't remember what they called it, but the first time I made it, it was so good that my collie, Duncan, and I split the whole thing for breakfast!!

    Servings:

    Units: US | Metric

    • 1 unbaked pie shell, of your choice (I use the store-bought ones because they're so easy.)
    • 2 cups milk
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 3 eggs
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    Directions:

    1. 1
Beat everything - except the crust :-) - together in a big bowl with a wire whisk.
    2. 2
Pour that into the pie crust and bake at 350 until the custard is set.
