  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • In large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients; beat well.
  • (Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.) Add flour and soda; mix well.
  • Stir in dates and nuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

  2. I made this recipe, followed all the ingredients and instruction except I added a teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of salt - it was an amazing delicious cookies!
     
  3. Just made these and they came out of the oven looking like pancakes. Yes, my ingredients were good. Tested my baking soda because I just opened the box. The only thing I can think might be the problem, is that maybe the amount of Baking Soda should be more than a teaspoon, considering that it shows 3 cups of flour in the recipe. I don't like how these turned out
     
  4. These were SENSATIONAL! Made a million of them, thank god. Used dark brown sugar since it didn't specify, and specifically walnuts. They were perfect and amazing and I'm sure I'll be making them again very soon!
