Made these for our New Year's Eve get together. They certainly went together easy, and tasted wonderful - rich and chocolate. My only problem was when it went to cut for serving. It was so hard and when I went to lift them out most of them fell apart so didn't look as pretty as the photo. But that didn't affect the taste at all. I'm wondering if I just left it in the fridge a little to long or maybe cooked it to long?? I'm sure it was one of those. But the taste was soooo good that I'll sure be making them again and trying for better looking results.

Oh wow...these are sinfully delicious or delciously sinful!!! I worked the base together in my food processor and it came together in 10 seconds flat. i then added my toasted pecans for another whirl or two as I didn't want to leave them whole. I guess either way wouldn't matter, but I just chose to grind mine up a bit. Almost like a pecan pie only with choco on top. This would make a great bar for holiday trays. Made for Veg-n-Swap~

I'm a now vegan who used to make one heck of a souvlaki. I love cooking, I was a huge fan of Moosewood and Molly Katzen prior to going vegan (although that has nothing to do with my choosing the name Katzen - that's just what my German Grandma has called me all my life.) Aside from cooking, I also love scuba diving, cycling, politics, and reading.
