Questions & Replies

  1. Can I email recipe?

  2. There seems to be an error in the amount of time that you are supposed to bake the bottom crust. After only 12 minutes at 350 degrees, my crust was browned. The recipe implies it takes approximately 25-30 minutes for the crust to get lightly browned.

  1. Great rich, chocolaty indulgence. Cut them small and served them at a tea I hosted. They were a huge hit! They'll stay in my MasterCook "favorites". Thanks for the recipe.

  2. These are amazing. I know I've gained at least 5 pounds from them but it's worth it!

  3. Made these wonderful bars for my conversational English class last week and they went down a treat. I had to explain to my students that they WEREN'T brownies. :-) Subbed walnuts for the pecans. Yummy, chocolatey and sweet!

  4. This is one of those recipes that is to die for. I finally had to put them in a container and take to my dad's computer, otherwise I would have eaten the whole thing. That would not be good for my blood sugar either.

  5. MMMMMMM....yummy!!!!! Followed recipe exactly...well, maybe I did add a "couple" more choc chips!! Sinful, a must have for every chocolate lover. Thank you for sharing!

Tweaks

  1. I found it best to beat the butter before adding the other ingredients and slowly added the flour while beating the butter mixture. Also, I cooked the crust for 20 minutes. Any longer and it burned.
