  1. Oh MizzNess....These bars are so good! made them last night, I didn't have a chocolate cake mix, so I used yellow cake mix, they still turned out fantastic, and very easy to make, may I add....no need to freeze, they will be gone by tonight! Thank you MizzNess for a super dessert recipe :-)

  2. These were wonderful...and very rich! We all loved it. The only problem I had was that they were difficult to cut. I did wait until they were cool but the marshmallow and peanut butter chips are so gooey. It didn't matter b/c it was just for my family, but next time I may try freezing them first. I would love to hear from the recipe poster to see if she would recomend freezing. Thanks for posting!!

  3. Mermaid, I'm not sure about the freezing. It's worth a try. But, what I do is sometimes I cut the topping ingredients in half. I used to do this whan I had a house full of tiny tots! They weren't so messy then. And they still loved them.

  4. Wow! I printed out this recipe ages ago to try and finally did today. What an interesting mix of ingredients...they turned out great! It was difficult to spread the cake mix in the pan, ended up using my fingers. My daughter is bringing them to a party tonight and I am sure everyone will love them! And yes they are very rich.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
