Mirj. honey you tell Caryn this pie was simply delicious! Thanks for posting it, DH and I ate the whole thing with 2 tall glasses of milk. The best part was it was extremely simple to make. I am not a fan of cooked blueberries but DH is so I made it for him and I was eating it right next to him I will pass this on to all my dear friends too. Thanks!!

Well since I am Caryn Gale and this is my recipe...and I make it a lot, I thought I would let you know how good and easy it is. Great for people who love crust like Mirj and Howard. Love to give it as a gift.

Excellent flavor. I made mine with apples because that's what I had on hand. I think this would work well with any fruit. Thanks for posting.

My mistake was making this when I was bunkered down for the weekend. The two of us ate the entire thing in 3 days. Not a good thing, but OH SO WORTH IT! HOLY COW. I wish there were 10 stars to give, they'd be yours!!

Incredible! This is more of a cake than a pie, but whatever you call it, it's a real treat. I made it with canned blueberries, which are a bit sour in my part of the world, and it was excellent. I would make it with other fruits, too. BTW, it's also very easy to make, and it looks beautiful. What more could I ask for?

I have made this several times, everytime I have to print the recipe for friends and family. I make mine in a springform pan. Once cooled I drizzle glaze over the top. It is just beautiful. Thanks for a new idea.

I thought this was very good! I made it in a spring form pan and it looked as good as it tasted. The tip about putting the dough on top was a good one.
