Blueberry-Banana Pie

"A quick and easy, no cook recipe. It makes two pies, but don't worry, this will go so fast you will definitely need two pies! You can also use strawberry pie filling on this."

  1. This pie was so good! I wasn't sure about adding the sugar because I thought it would be grainy and I was going to substitute it with powdered sugar but decided to follow the instructions. It came out great and the texture was smooth. I did however end up using 2 packages of cream cheese instead of one because I am a cream cheese fanatic! This pie was just what I was looking for. The only thing I don't like about it was...it disappears too fast! Thanks for the great recipe!

  2. The pies were a hit! And the bananas in the bottom of the pie was a surprise. I substituted Dream Whip in place of the Cool Whip, and we liked the texture a lot. The next time I make it, I might substitute another filling...I bet that will be good too. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Junebug!

  3. This recipe was actually quite tasty! I wasn't sure about the blueberry and banana combined, but it was wonderful! Thanks for sharing this extremely easy recipe, that is now a family favourite!

  4. I was so happy to find this recipe. My mom used to make it for us growing up. We would request it instead of cake at our birthday parties! This is a very, easy recipe to take to potlucks! Thanks!

  5. I used to make a recipe very similar to this years ago and then lost the recipe. Glad I found this one. DH loved it and now I will be able to make it often. I did make a couple of changes -- I used more bananas and I reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup. Next time I plan to try this delicious pie with Truvia which is a natural non-sugar sweetener. Thanks for the post.

I am a wife, Mother and Grandmother. I am a native Texan and can't imagine living anywhere else. My Grandmother taught me to cook before I could see the top of the counter. I remember standing on a stool in her kitchen learning to make pancakes. My Mother loved to cook and it seems she was cooking (or cleaning) most of the time. So those are the two ladies responsible for nurturing my love of cooking! <a href="http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg77/monji74/?action=view&current=groupie1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg77/monji74/groupie1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> As you can see I cook and review recipes more than I post them. That's because I am a pinch of this and a dollop of that cook and it's hard to put those recipes down on paper. <img src="http://www.satsleuth.com/cooking/Swap14.JPG"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/untitled.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/200_artistrichardneuman-art-prints_.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting">
