Nice cookies! They were sweet enough, but I wanted just a touch more so mixed a little confectioner's sugar(powdered) and rice milk and drizzled over the top of the cookies. Bam! Loved them! Thanks! Made for the Spanish/Portuguese tag game.

The only problem it's they're gone already! Some went as a gift and for the rest, they we're supposed to try each one cookie. Even DD2 had one herself.I liked them for not being too sweet and the addition of raisins . A keeper.

My first attempt at making oatmeal raisin cookies and I'm very encouraged by this initial foray. The sweetness in the final product is just enough to be alluring, but not quite enough to be overpowering - to the point where saying "just one more" sneaks into your head, without your even realizing it. The oatmeal and raisins add to the texture and complexity in equal amounts, making for a well-rounded, tasty treat. Recommended.

This saved me today. I thought my whole day would be spent in the kitchen, working and working. Up popped this recipe like a pop-tart in the toaster, and scazzammm...these babies were whipped up faster then a horse could eat a succulent apple from the apple tree. Baking time was 100% right on. A few stray chocolate chips (who were sneaking around the kitchen) thought they would make a "bust-a-move" into the bowl when I wasn't looking, so please excuse the addition of these chocolate chips. Yum. Yum. If you are making this cookie, please make sure you watch those chocolate chips though, they are sneaky. Made for *Everyday is a Holiday* November 2009

We all LOVED these cookies! Thanks so much for sharing this keeper of a recipe. I made smaller cookies, flattened them a bit and they cooked a lot faster.

Nice oatmeal raisin cookies. I made these exactly as written, although had to use pure clover honey as I couldn't find the acacia honey. I made regular sized cookies using my cookie scoop and it made 21 cookies. I didn't flatten them as they were smaller, but on 2nd batch I did flatten, as they don't spread when baking. These had a very good strong cinnamon flavor but very little sweetness to them, which unfortunately was not a winner for my 17 yo DS. Thanks for sharing Lalaloula!! Made for Holiday Tag.
