These cookies are wonderful! Had some chocolate chips leftover from Christmas that I wanted to use up so decided to make cookies. I am sure glad I picked your recipe. My husband, sons and brother-in-law all gave these cookies two thumbs up!!

My family thought I was crazy when I said coconut was in the cookies! But when they tried them, I can't get them to stop eating them.

OH MY! These are really good! I worried the coconut would be too prominent, but everything blends together well, for the perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie! I only had chunk chocolate chips and pecans, but it still turned out great. I'll never make any other!

These were really, really good. The first batch I cooked spread too much and I knew I had done something wrong. I think it was because I put the butter in the microwave to softened and I left it in too long. I added more flour and they were perfect. I halfed the recipe and somehow I think I made a mistake in my proportions They still turned out good.

These cookies are without a doubt the BEST tasting cookies I've ever tried-and I've tried plenty!! This is going to be my new cookie to make all the time for my family-my husband wanted to hide them from the kids they were so good!!! We did end up sharing them but they disappeared before I could get out some milk from the fridge! Thanks again Sharlene for a fantastic recipe!!

I thought these were really good. I used whole wheat flour, which seemed to work well; probably because the coconut helps to retain the moisture. I also believe I substituted Sweet & Low Brown (I can't remember .) I think I will make these again today ...

The description is apt. I didn't have chips so I just chopped some semi-sweet chocolate, which probably resulted in a more speckly, consistent mix which I actually liked more than I think I would have with the chips. 12 minutes was absolutely perfect for my oven and the cookies are still moist. I actually am not a big coconut fan, but I really like the flavor combo. Now the funny thing is that Troy LOVES coconut, but was convinced these have oatmeal in them not coconut. weird.
