I don't remember where I found this recipe but I have had it for years. I did not include 4 hours freezer time in preparation.

This is almost identical to the recipe that's inside the box of the Baker's brand German sweet chocolate bar (the green box) except the recipe on the box calls for 4 oz. of cream cheese instead of 3. I decided to go with 4 oz. but I'm sure 3 would still make the pie yummy. At first I cut the pie after freezing for only 2 hours and it was still soft. Then later that night I cut another thin slice (I couldn't help myself) and it was frozen solid. To me, I think the frozen piece was better. I would highly recommend this recipe. It was very simple to make and wonderful tasting, very cool and refreshing. *edit* I thought I should add that you need to soften the cream cheese and Cool Whip before folding in.
